How was your CNY?

This year's CNY is a lil different for me...apart from the usual routines... we also relived the past.

One of my uncle suddenly dug out one old photo of my dad and the uncle when they were like 3 yrs old..and it triggered all our curiosity. We haven seen our dad's baby photos before... (Not that I could remember)... So, our uncle started digging out a few albums. Those were really old photos...damn old..they were like black and white... lol.. and it had my grandfather's baby photos...and even my great grand parents wedding photos... That's what I mean by Realllly Olllldd.....

If you were wondering how come we had so much photos from so way back..Well...my great grand father owned a photography shop back then... so that explains ya...

And the photos taken was really good. It really captured the most beautiful memories of their times. And because of these photos, we were able to relive their experiences, with our grandpa filling us in with the details.We even get to see our ancestors...which we have never gotten a chance to meet in our life time.

Looking at these photos...and looking at them next to us...They have really aged...Reminded me to really cherish them before it's too late. Sat next to my grandma to look at the photos...so that she could look at them too..cos she's wheelchair bound and people often forgot abt her presence...left her to sit in a corner all by herself. Could tell she enjoyed looking at those photos this CNY..cos she was so eager to share her side of her story... Really hope our CNY in future could be this way... More bonding..instead of just being there to "show face" and collect ang pao.

Okok..seems too emo... But it was fun... laffing at my daddy's younger days...Just like watching 80's rewind. Lol... Do you all watch that show.. I like the show..It's damn farni... But i missed a few episodes alr...sobz...hahaha

This is for Angel... Evidence tat your birthday cake is really retro...lol...but that was also my best birthday cake I've ever had in my life. Cos it looks so princessy.wahahaha...FYI..the picture below is not my birthday cake.. mine was in a coloured picture. hahaha
